In addition to the programs and services offered to Center for Hope & Safety’s residential clients, we offer an array of programs and services to those in the Bergen County, NJ community.
The Art of Survival
Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Starting March 6, 2024, in-person at 12 Overlook Ave, Rochelle Park, NJ, 2nd Floor Art Studio
We will continue learning new art skills, using many different art materials to experiment with, creating new and exciting visuals that are inspiring, while discovering your inner self.
You will be part of a group of survivors, who will offer support and validation, in a safe place, while experiencing the healing power of art making.

Youth ages 10 and up (teens welcome) who live in Bergen County and are survivors of domestic violence are welcome to join and create exciting art, storytelling, and more. This group allows participants to tap into their own self-expression while having fun and meeting new friends.

Virtual Domestic Violence Support Group

Center for Hope & Safety is offering a virtual support group every Thursday via zoom. A safe and supportive space to connect with survivors or current victims of domestic or interpersonal violence.

Economic Empowerment is a program Center for Hope & Safety offers to victims and survivors of domestic violence living in Bergen County, NJ. To help our clients successfully rebuild a life of independence, we run a weekly financial literacy workshop series over Zoom.

- Mastering Credit Basics
- Building / Repairing Credit
- Banking Basics
- Budgeting Strategies
- Protecting Your Identity
